Privacy Policy — DebtDate
DebtDate (“the App”) is a personal debt payoff calculator published by Horsmann Network.
Important: DebtDate provides estimates only. Payoff dates, interest totals, and strategy comparisons are for informational purposes. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice, and they are not a guarantee of future results. Your actual payoff timeline may differ based on fees, rate changes, payment timing, and other factors. Consider speaking with a qualified adviser for decisions about your personal finances.
What we store on your device
Debt balances, APRs, payment amounts, preferences, and purchase status are stored only on your device using on-device storage (SwiftData / UserDefaults). We do not create accounts, and we do not sync your debt data to our servers.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, bank login, or financial account credentials. The App never connects to your bank.
Advertising
If you use the free (non‑Pro) version, the App shows ads via Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data related to ad delivery and measurement, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. Purchasing DebtDate Pro removes ads.
Purchases
In‑app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to billing.
Analytics
The App does not include a separate analytics SDK beyond what Apple or AdMob may provide as part of their platforms.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13.
Estimates — not advice
All payoff dates, interest totals, and method comparisons shown in the App are estimates generated from the numbers you enter. They are for informational purposes only and are not financial, legal, or tax advice. Results can change if your balances, rates, or payments change. DebtDate does not guarantee any outcome.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
